On Tuesday, at the ongoing Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas, Asus introduced its latest lineup of ROG-branded gaming laptops, including popular models like the 2025 ROG Strix SCAR series, 2025 ROG Flow Z13, and the 2025 Zephyrus G14/G16.

Asus also introduced the ROG Astral GeForce RTX 50 series, which includes NVIDIA’s newly announced air-cooled ROG Astral GeForce RTX 5090 and 5080, liquid-cooled ROG Astral LC GeForce RTX 5090, and the ROG Strix GeForce RTX 5070 Ti and 5070 GPUs.

The ROG Strix SCAR 16/18 is currently the flagship gaming laptop from Asus, powered by up to the Intel Core Ultra 9 Processor 275HX and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090 Laptop GPU with up to 175W TGP. These laptops offer a 16-inch or an 18-inch 2.5K resolution mini-LED ROG Nebula HDR display with 2,000 dimming zones, a 16:10 aspect ratio, and a 240Hz refresh rate. With up to 64 GB of RAM and 4 TB of NVMe Gen4 SSD, these are currently some of the most capable gaming laptops in the world.

The ROG Strix G16/G18, powered by the AMD Ryzen 9 9955HX (G614), AMD Ryzen 9 9955HX3D (G814), or Intel Core Ultra 9 Processor 275HX (G615/815) CPU with GeForce RTX 5080, 5070 Ti, or 5070 Laptop GPUs, sit just below the SCAR models. Packing a 2.5K 240Hz panel with a 3ms response time ROG Nebula display, these laptops also have a built-in 1080p web camera and support features like Dolby Atmos.

The Zephyrus G14/G16 are the latest portable gaming laptops from Asus, featuring Intel Core Ultra 9 Processor 285H or AMD Ryzen AI 7 350/Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 processors, along with NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090, 5080, 5070 Ti, or 5070 Laptop GPUs. The 2025 variant of the Zephyrus G14 comes with a ROG Nebula OLED display with a 3K 120Hz refresh rate and 0.2ms response time, while the Zephyrus G16 features a 2.5K ROG Nebula OLED display with a 240Hz refresh rate.

The ROG Flow Z13 is a highly compact gaming laptop from Asus, powered by the AMD Ryzen AI Max+ 395 with Radeon 8060S graphics. This convertible gaming laptop has a 2.5K ROG Nebula 180Hz touchscreen display and packs a 70Wh battery offering up to 10 hours of usage.

Additionally, Asus introduced the 2025 ROG XG Mobile with the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090 Laptop GPU and Thunderbolt 5 support. Asus also unveiled products like the ROG NUC (2025), a mini gaming PC; the ROG Swift OLED, the world’s first 27-inch 4K OLED gaming monitor with a 240Hz refresh rate; and the ROG Rapture GT-BE19000AI, the world’s first gaming router with Wi-Fi 7 support and an integrated NPU.
