On Tuesday, Intel introduced its latest desktop graphics cards––the Arc B570 and Arc B580–– both powered by the Xe2 graphics architecture, which was first introduced in the Lunar Lake laptop processors. Priced at $219 and $249, respectively, Intel claims that the Arc B570 and B580 offer “best-in-class performance per dollar.” However, there is no information on when these graphics cards will be available in India.

“The new Intel Arc B-Series GPUs are the perfect upgrades for gamers. They deliver leading performance-per-dollar and great 1440p gaming experiences with XeSS 2, second-generation ray tracing engines, and XMX AI engines. We’re delighted to be joined by more partners than ever so that gamers have more choice in finding their perfect design,” said Vivian Lien, Intel vice president and general manager of client graphics.

The Intel Arc B570 is the more affordable option, offering 10 GB of video memory, while the Arc B580 steps up with 12 GB of video memory. These cards deliver up to 203 and 233 TOPs of AI performance, respectively, and are designed for smooth 1080p and 1440p gaming.

Compared to Intel’s first-generation Arc desktop graphics cards, the B-Series GPUs boast a 70 per cent improvement in performance per Xe-core and are, on average, 24 per cent faster in 1440p gaming.

Both models also feature second-generation ray tracing, providing more realistic lighting effects. The Arc B-Series cards come with XeSS 2 upscaling technology, which is supported by over 150 video games. Users can also explore Intel’s AI Playground, running generative AI models locally on PCs equipped with the latest Intel graphics cards.
