As part of the PlayStation’s 30th anniversary celebrations, Sony recently unveiled “My First Gran Turismo”, a new instalment in the critically acclaimed Gran Turismo racing game series. In a blog post, Kazunori Yamauchi, the creator of the Gran Turismo series “was designed to be both approachable and immersive, created for everyone, with no limits on age or driving skill level.”

For those wondering, the new Gran Turismo game serves as an entry point for those who have never experienced the racing simulator. The company says it has tuned the experience so that anyone can get behind the wheel and master the essentials like cornering, acceleration and braking.

Sony said that there are three Race Events, three Time Trials, three Music Rally stages as well as a full suite of License Tests. It also features 18 unique cars, which players will be able to enjoy on iconic tracks like Kyoto Driving Park, Deep Forest Raceway and Trial Mountain Circuit.

How to claim My Gran Turismo for free?

Available for both PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 owners, My First Gran Turismo also serves as a trial version for the latest title in the series – Gran Turismo 7. To claim My First Gran Turismo for free, head over to the PlayStation Store web portal and sign in to your Sony account.

Now, head over to the My First Gran Turismo listing on the PlayStation Store page, click on the “Add to Library” button and download the game on your gaming console. You can also download the game directly on your console by launching the PlayStation Store on your console and adding the game to your library from there. Before you download the game, make sure your PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 have at least 12GB and 15GB of free space.
